Electrical Engineer, Cornwall (Days shift) - Cornwall

We’re one of the world’s largest dairy producers. Join our Trevarrian site in picturesque Newquay, Cornwall, and improve the way we make food that is loved by millions. Our Trevarrian site dates back to 1989 and produces a range of award winning Cornish Brie.

You will work individually and within a small, friendly and supportive team to make sure our equipment can maintain production targets. The role will involve working on a days only shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off (6am – 6pm including weekends).

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance of the dairy’s production lines to identify improvements. You will carry out any relevant repairs or improvements adhering to safety methods.

The role will also involve reporting on CMMS systems and root cause analysis.

About You

  • You will be a fully qualified/time served Engineer, with a background in manufacturing ideally gained within the Food industry with some formal electrical qualification and PLC knowledge.
  • You will be an excellent communicator too – able to work with others to deliver results and drive meaningful improvements.
  • LEAN techniques would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
  • You will be IT competent and will undertake training in our CMMS systems.
