Demand Planner - Aarhus

We are looking for a talented and skilled Demand Planner with a commercial mindset, strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to continuously optimize the utilisation of Arla’s capacity and resources. As a Demand Planner you will become part of the Demand Planning team and act as a key driver in supporting all efforts to ensure that Arla always delivers the right quantity of fresh commodities to our customers.

You will proactively plan and coordinate activities

As Demand Planner you will be reporting directly to the Demand Planning Manager and have a wide contact surface across Arla’s functional areas. In order to succeed you need to have a solid understanding of both the supply chain activities as well as all commercial aspects of forecasting. We expect you to offer strong stakeholder management skills and be motivated by face-to-face communication. You will work to develop and enhance processes and tools applied in the department. In this high-paced work environment, we expect you to:

  • take lead as a stakeholder in the Sales & Operations Planning processes
  • ensure commercial input from and ensuring alignment with our Sales and Category departments
  • improve forecast accuracy over time by conducting and presenting structured root cause analysis
  • independently maintain and expand a wide contact surface and communicate with several departments through continuous stakeholder management

You have a customer-centric and analytical approach

You hold a degree relevant for Supply Chain Management and have preferably been working with forecasting, planning and logistics for some years. You are an advanced IT-user and it is an advantage if you are familiar with SAP APO. You are known as a service minded and outgoing team player and thrive when working in a high-paced environment. Additionally, you are a skilful communicator, confident in collaborating across departments and enjoy being held accountable for your area of responsibility. Furthermore, you have strong and well-founded written and verbal English skills.                                   

In relation to your work-ethic, you are proactive, able to remain calm under pressure and utilise your analytical skills when solving problems. You enjoy building positive relationships across the organisation and facilitating relevant meetings. You are able to retain a customer and service-oriented approach to your work and possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
