Customer Marketing is the cross-field between sales and marketing. We focus distinctly on winning at the moment of truth when the shoppers decide on a product in the store. We deliver shopper insights, analysis and recommendations on how to increase category spend, while being at the forefront of retail innovation and instore concept development.
Among other things, we drive the development and execution of Arla’s strategies for product range, price, promotion and space management. We have a wide range of data sources available as a base for making our recommendations.

About the Internship
During the internship in Customer Marketing you will be assigned your own projects as well as being a contributor to others. You will work closely with colleagues from the Customer Marketing team as well as other key stakeholders.
As a member of Customer Marketing, you will support our daily operations in the Instore team as well as work on the following projects during your internship:
Deep knowledge of Danish FMCG shoppers is essential to Customer Marketing. As an Intern, you will take the lead in being up to speed with the latest retail & concept trends and support the development, launch and operation of new instore retail concepts
Understanding how shoppers behave when making an instore purchase decision is the key for unlocking potential growth opportunities. As a part of your internship, you will conduct a low scale research based on instore shopper observations (qualitative) and follow up on launches or newly implemented retail concept initiatives.
Together with our customers, Arla provides a toolkit for training people who work with Dairy at store level. This toolkit needs to be assessed and rescoped to meet future requirements. As an Intern, you will drive this change.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong passion for retail as well as a strong business acumen
- Good English and Danish skills are needed along with good presentation skills
- We expect you to be experienced in Excel and Power Point
- Experience in Space Management (Spaceman) and/or Sketchup is a plus
- You are most likely a cand.merc, marketing or cand.merc commercial & retail Management student
