Driving business growth

As a Customer Category Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and value across your assigned categories and customers. The core of your work will be the use of multiple streams of data to generate shopper, consumer and customer insights. Your insights and recommendations will change shopper behavior, and drive growth and better business.

We will expect you to reach compelling conclusions and recommendations for product range, price, promotion, place and product launches. You will share your analysis of shopper behavior with customers and colleagues.  Developing robust customer and category plans and long-term strategies, you will help us to optimize total category sales. Crucially, you will also help us to ensure that Arla’s relevance is clear.

We will rely on you to proactively challenge how we and our customers think and act. You will drive continuous improvement and innovation in ways of working, processes, tools and research, and test and learn activities. As well as sharing category development ideas with a wide range of colleagues, you will help to develop and share best practice across our category management teams, globally.

Creative, commercial analyst with flair for communication

Together with a business-related degree or equivalent, you will have proven experience in a category or sales role, within an FMCG company, retailer or market research firm. Relevant training in category management is vital, and we will expect you to work with Microsoft Office, retailer point-of-sale data, Nielsen, GFK Simit, SAP and Catman. Experience with e-commerce a plus. As an analytical and strategic thinker, you bring an open, positive and cooperative style to everything you do. Your curiosity, competitiveness and creativity is matched by your flair for communication.
