We currently have an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join our Customer Agriculture team. This role will give you the chance to learn more about Arla Foods and our fast-paced supply chain as well as working with one of our key customers. A three-month induction and immersion in the Arla Foods business, at our UK Head Office in Leeds, will be followed by a 12 month London based placement supporting a key strategic customer to Arla Foods. This will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your supply chain knowledge and skills in order to progress within the Agriculture function at Arla Foods.
What will you do?
Some of your key responsibilities in the role will include:
- Supporting the agricultural function for a key customer and gaining experience in customer account management
- Project management of agriculture and sustainability projects
- Liaison and point of contact for placement students and host suppliers to deliver an industry leading agricultural placement programme
- Carrying out farm and supply chain visits
- General administration tasks within the agriculture team
You will be a recent graduate with a background, and genuine interest, in agriculture and a proactive approach to your own learning and career development. With excellent communication skills you will be comfortable interacting with a range of stakeholders at different levels and will build relationships quickly. You will also have strong organisational and project management skills as well as a keen eye for detail. You will be highly computer-literate and will be able to use these skills to analyse data as well as building presentations. Finally, you will have a full UK driving license and will be flexible on location.
