Controller - Logistics, Aarhus

Do you have solid financial and commercial experience from a controller role and would you like to be part of a strong controller team working on Logistics? Then you might be our new colleague.

We are currently looking for a Controller working on Logistics. In this role you will be based in Viby and will report to the Global Logistics Controlling Manager.

Process optimisation and ensure ONE way of working

In this role you will be responsible for performing key financial processes for multiple logistics operations, however one main area of focus will be looking for process optimisations and improved ways of working within the local DK Logistics controlling tasks and an opportunity to input into a global workstream focusing on these areas. These processes will include:

- Month end closing and dialogue with BP’s

- Financial and KPI Reporting - weekly and monthly.

- Logistics controlling (ensure correct registration with operations)

- Participation of Global Workstream (may include travel within Europe)

- Ad hoc support to multiple BP’s on focus areas.

In addition, you will also play a key role in terms of supporting the application of Arla principles and KPIs across the sites. You will perform various standardised accounting processes across sites. You will also maintain a close relationship with multiple business partners and site teams. As a member of the Global Logistics Finance team you will play an active role and contribute in terms of discussing new ideas and ways of working.

Finance and business background

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of complex accounting processes and will be comfortable explaining these to other people.  With a global mind-set you will have the ability to put Arla models into practice. In addition, you will be customer focused and will be able to demonstrate high attention to detail.  With effective communication skills you will be able to deal with a range of stakeholders at different levels and will challenge and ask questions. Your strong problem solving abilities will help you to continuously look to find new and better ways of working. Strong Excel, SAP and BW skills would also be an advantage.
