Category Manager Norway (Temporary 1 year) - Oslo

Arla Foods Norway is the subsidiary of Arla and has significant market positions within several categories on the Norwegian market. We represent well known and strong brands like Apetina® Cooking cheese, Castello® Specialty cheese, Arla® cheese, Starbucks® Iced coffee, Cocio® Chocolate milk and God Morgon® Juice.

In order to achieve our ambitious goals in Norway, we are now looking for a temporary Category Manager (due to maternity leave) who develops, drives and implements category and brand plans. You will work at a category-specific level across a portfolio of brands and retail customers ensuring delivery of growth for the category and Arla Foods.

The role currently reports to the Head of Marketing. 

You cooperate and focus on results

You will be responsible for category and space analysis across multiple categories to support KAM, marketing and sales in our ambitions targets for growth. You will have local responsibility for selected brands owning overall marketing efforts with short and long-term plans.

Your skills are important for success

To be successful in the position it is important that you bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as Product Manager / Category Manager / Brand Manager / Key Account Manager, preferably in FMCG. A higher education with focus on marketing / economics is a requirement. Good Nielsen knowledge and solid knowledge of the Norwegian media market and especially digital media, are equally essential as business proficient English language skills. You will also need good experience in developing campaigns in organizations with strong brands.
