Responsible for business development in North and South America
You will be part of the Health & Performance group in Aarhus, Denmark. You will be responsible for business development in the sports nutrition and functional foods area. Together with the six Regional Sales Managers, you maintain and extend our ingredients business in North and South America through development and execution of plans for the market. Your main responsibilities will be to present products, communicate scientific evidence, support customers with technical knowledge and drive business development projects. In addition, you will be responsible for laying out the strategic path for the Health and sports nutrition markets as well as providing input for market-oriented product development.
As a key intermediary link between our customers, the North and South American sales force and headquarters, you will participate in product development and customer specific projects. You will be project manager on marketing and business development projects and responsible for gathering market information and developing new concepts within the segments. On top of that, you will be a part of scoping a global sports ingredient strategy for the market and act as our expert in this field.
Natural Sciences degree, twinned with sales and marketing experience
You hold a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition, Biomedicine, Sports Science or the like and have previously worked with sales and marketing in the sports nutrition, food or health care industry. Preferably, you also have experience with project management. You are proficient in verbal and written English.
Even though your platform is scientific, you have a natural flair for business, are self-propelled with a high drive, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You enjoy working with colleagues at all levels in the organisation and from various cultural backgrounds. In addition, you have the ability and willingness to grasp complicated scientific information and translate the essence into a market relevant concept. With your natural curiosity, you are eager to learn and share your knowledge. Finally, you must be capable of working in a dynamic environment, handling and solving many tasks simultaneously. You can look forward to gaining an extensive contact base and should expect approximately 50-70 travel days yearly.
