Arla Foods Ingredients is a global leader in natural whey ingredients for products with a wide range of categories – from bakery, beverages and ice cream to medical, infant and sports nutrition. The Product Management department has only existed for 2 years so you will be playing a vital role with the rest of the team in continuing the work of establishing and implementing structures and processes to ensure the right positioning of Product Management in the overall structure of the company.

Product and coordination

As Assistant Product Manager you will have a unique chance to influence the way we work, applying your determined and professional attitude and your will to make a difference.

Overall you will be a part of and supporting a team of 7 Product Managers managing the entire product assortment. Even though each Product Manager has the responsibility to manage their own individual portfolios it is also crucial that the team works together and shares best practice to be one team. Your role as Assistant Product Manager will be crucial in working across all product areas solving various tasks such as the responsibility for ensuring alignment of the input to our PI (Product Information) database, forecast check, order and release check, creation of new material numbers and general report generation and leading smaller cross functional projects in PM.

You will have a coordinating role in many activities and a broad range of contacts, including sales business units, production sites and the quality department, when handling requests and solving concerns. Your timely delivery and accuracy guarantee a high degree of stakeholder satisfaction.

Meticulous and good cooperating skills

You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably within Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent. You may just have finished your education. Alternatively, you have solid, all-round office skills developed through several years of working within product management in a similar company. Ideally, you also have insight into the BtB industry and are ready for a job in a product management department. Regardless of your background, you are meticulous and have an extremely detailed and structured way of working. Your ability to make the right priorities is excellent, and you never compromise on quality and timely delivery, even when the pace is high and deadlines are looming. You speak Danish fluently and English proficiency is a must as well as good cooperating skills.
