The journey to becoming part of a company is as exciting as the new job itself. It’s a two-way street where both the candidate and the organization have to show equal interest. While applying for the F15® Graduate Programme, I experienced the most welcoming process ever.
It is the most engaging application process I have ever been through. Once the applications were closed, I was immediately informed by the recruitment team about the rest of the recruitment process, what to expect, and what happens next. The information flow throughout the process was very clear - I actually think Arla's communication throughout the application process was the best I saw from any company I applied to. After only a few weeks, I was informed that I was selected for the assessment centre, and a few days before the assessment day, I received a surprise package from Arla, that included some of the delicious Arla products, candies, and snacks to keep me charged throughout the day.
The day of the assessment centre was very well organized, starting with an inspiring welcome speech from the CEO. The agenda of the entire day was communicated in advance and the technicalities were so well managed that nine different agenda points were followed without a hassle throughout the day. Besides formal interviews and case studies, we had the opportunity to engage in some informal discussions to get to know the company better and meet the current graduates, as well as the program manager. The recruitment process is designed to get to know our entire personalities rather than just our educational background. I can say that it is actually the recruitment process that helped me get the job. At the end of the day, I was nothing but impressed with the organization and willing to join Arla more than ever.
The program team was so efficient that I had an answer in less than a week. Afterwards, the immigration process for moving to Denmark, including visa application, apartment search and relocation were all taken care of by the company. Finally, with a smooth start, the onboarding week was full of interesting events and in-formation that helped us kick off our journey to the graduate program.
