Butterdane’s former warehouse in the port of Esbjerg closed.

The warehouse in the port of Esbjerg, which was all that was left of the historic era when butter from Denmark’s dairies was shipped from Esbjerg to the UK, has been sold.

Butterdane has not used the facility since 1995 when direct dispatch from Varde dairy began. The warehouse has been purchased by the shipping company A/S J. Lauritsen Eftf.
