Neil Davidson, Chief Executive, has advised the Board of Arla Foods UK plc that he will retire from the Company and the Board at the end of the current financial year on 30 September 2005, by which time the integration of the former Express Dairies and Arla Foods businesses and the realisation of the anticipated synergy benefits from the merger to create Arla Foods UK plc should be complete.

The Board will immediately put in place a process to appoint a successor to Neil Davidson.
Also, Kim Nielsen has advised the Board that he will resign from the Company and
the Board as a non-executive director on 30 April 2005.
