For the second year running, an emmental 45 from Aars Dairy was named Denmark’s best cheese at the National Dairy Exhibition in Herning, Jutland. Not only that, Arla Foods secured top honours in all four dairy products’ categories.

Once again, employees at Aars Dairy can take pride in the fact that their Emmental 45 was named Denmark’s best cheese in competition with 783 other Danish cheeses shown at the exhibition.
Not surprisingly, Holstebro Dairy won the Danish championship within the butter category for its 227g Lurpak while Gaio from Brabrand took the honours in the spreadable category. 51 butters and spreads took part in the competition.
Hobro Dairy also secured first place for its A-38 within fresh products against 270 other fresh products.
A new concept prize went to Thise Diary for the Jersey concept.
