Arla co-operative owners give a briefing on milk production at agricultural shows in Denmark
Around 5,500 people visited Arla Foods’ exhibition truck at the Agricultural Fair at Gl. Estrup when the 2003 show season kicked off last weekend.
During the event, the Arla truck hosted samplings, lotteries, football games as well as the well-known exhibition. Eight co-operative shareholders, headed by Arla Foods Chairman, Knud Erik Jensen, manned the stand and talked to children and adults about milk production.
“This is a useful way of presenting the company and showing that Arla Foods is owned by farmers,” said Knud Erik Jensen.
