Sales Planning Analyst, Leeds

We are currently looking to recruit a Sales Planning Analyst to join our UK Commercial Ingredients team. In this role you will be based at our head office in Leeds and will report to the Director for Commercial Ingredients. As Sales Planning Analyst you will provide administrative support and will have sales responsibility within UK trading.

The UK Trading team is responsible for the administration of both the Global Dairy Trade (GDT) and Cream Trading platform. In this role you will have sales responsibility for a number of smaller UK/Global Traded accounts, including initial contact for incoming enquiries. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all contracts/sales orders are entered and maintained accurately on SAP and other systems (as appropriate). You will liaise with customers and our production sites/warehouses to ensure that deli-very schedules are adhered to. Working closely with Milk Planning to monitor brokered milk/milk fraction contracts you will ensure compliance with agreed volume tolerances. You will also administer and control all aspects of EU/UK Support mechanisms as and when required. Furthermore you will provide regular reports on ongoing status of contracts, stock and production forecasts. Obtaining agreement on cream loads (fat levels) between Arla sites and third parties, you will subsequently ensure that customers are invoiced correctly. In addition you will also be responsible for providing administrative support on Third Party Cheese purchases. Striving to achieve all Customer account KPI targets, you will also provide accurate and timely internal and external updates on Customer Contracts.   

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills and will be adept at building exceptional customer relationships. With an analytical approach you will have proven ability to problem-solve. In addition you will possess strong IT skills and will ideally have knowledge and previous experience of using SAP.
