Procurement Controller, Aarhus

Do you excel in financial analyses based on complex data, and do you have a natural passion for pursuing targets? If so, you now have the opportunity to join a successful and dedicated team in a growing international organisation. You will be part of Global Procurement Services in Aarhus. We are 15 Purchasing Specialists and Coordinators that support the business with reporting, analyses, tool development, various project management tasks, and other procurement related activities. We are currently in a change phase of rolling out e-purchasing to the rest of Arla as well as anchoring high end procurement tools that are putting Arla procurement in best in class position.

Become procurement analyst and reporting expert 
You will become one of our key colleagues within financial and procurement analysis, and your conclusions will have major impact on the procurement projects you are involved in. As such, you will play a very important role in the fulfilment of our business critical targets. You will be accountable for reporting on all our activities, as well as taking lead on how to achieve the targets. You will transform business and leadership team requirements into tools and reporting standards, and you ensure that high quality reports are delivered in due time. You will work closely with other team members that support you on operations. All depending on your profile and career plans, you can also develop into other areas of procurement.

Financial/economical degree and top class Excel expertise
You have a degree within accounting, finance, economics or similar topped with a couple of years’ controlling or reporting experience. You thrive in a world of figures and numbers. You are known as a solid analyst with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You also have a service minded, but clear approach to influence stakeholders to meet targets. Your flair for numbers and financial details enables you to take full responsibility for your area and act as a trustworthy partner for your stakeholders. 

With your strong drive and commitment, you are able to handle your tasks independently and challenge yourself and your colleagues. You thrive in a dynamic environment where each new day means new challenges and learning opportunities. Your Excel competencies must be at super user level, including VBA programming. You should be familiar with Business Warehouse (BI, SAP Business Objects) and perhaps also with E-sourcing. If you have experience with lean in the reporting process and have worked in a strategic procurement environment it is a major advantage. Familiarity with the Ariba tool is also an advantage. Finally, you must master English and perhaps you also speak Danish or Swedish.
