Procurement Assistant – Danish speaker, Gdansk

Fueled by your passion and dedication you'll contribute to the service and performance culture within Operational Procurement Team. After all, we've got to where we are because we're passionate about what we do.

On your daily basis you will be responsible for:

  • Processing and validating the purchase requisitions according to standards and procedures in timely manner with required quality.
  • Confirming order details, including price and delivery date, with suppliers,
  • Solving price discrepancies on non-catalogue items effectively.

Due to being contact point and support for the business groups, you will support cooperation between suppliers and end users with the aim of raising system usage level. You would have a chance to participate in development and maintenance of IT procurement tools, including improvements implementation and knowledge sharing. As a part of the team you will also support juniors and handle tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Procurement experience and sharing Arla values

If you are a service minded specialist, full of energy and willingness to build relations across borders, that will enable the team to become a truly customer - orientated partner for our Business Groups. Preferably, you should have at least 1-year experience in procurement (P2P process awareness) or customer service backend with knowledge of SAP or other ERP system.

To be successful in that role you have to speak English and Danish fluently. We are looking for ambitious people who want to challenge themselves with the unique experience of working in fast-paced environment, in a start-up team, requiring frequent contact with customers and system data analysis. Therefore, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. In addition, we expect the candidate to be team work focused, with attention to details and accuracy.
