Operation Technicians, Westbury

We currently have several opportunities within our Process and Production departments for Operation Technicians to join our site based in Westbury, Wiltshire, the home of Anchor butter.  The role will involve working as part of a team to deliver operational plans.

You will achieve production plans through efficient resolution, utilisation and operation of equipment, maximising quality, productivity and material yield. You will ensure company policies are maintained with regard to Food Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), Customer Codes of Practice, Safety, Health and Environment and operating practices. In addition, you will contribute to achieving site Essentials and TIP’s (Tactical Implementation Plans) through effective teamwork. 

You will be working on a continental shift pattern, every 28 days there are 14 x 12hr shift (7 days @ 07:00 – 19:00 and 7 nights @ 19:00 – 07:00) with an 8 day gap in the pattern.

The successful candidate will have ideally worked in a similar role within manufacturing and will be a strong communicator with an understanding of food safety principles and practices, safe working and GMP. You will be a team player with a strong attention to detail and will be IT literate.
