Grow our branded business
We are looking for a National Account Manager to help us significantly grow the branded sales of Arla cheese and Lurpak butter in Italy. You will work closely with our small local team in Italy and partner with the regional team in Copenhagen and the Global Categories at our headquarters. But most of all you will be working independently towards our customers using your commercial skills to identify and deliver value opportunities to the customers and to Arla.
You find opportunities and make them happen
For selected key retailers you will be responsible for growing the existing business but even more to identify new opportunities from market and category insights and get the customer on board with our propositions. Your role and experiences will be crucial to become a real Arla Ambassador by getting new customers on board and creating new and clever solutions together with your colleagues. Drawing upon data sources, product and customer insight, you will develop strong selling stories and utilize strong commercial skills and relationship building to make joint business plans founded on solid sell through strategies. You will take the lead in coordinating sales analysis, sales reporting, merchandising updates, in-store level events, and any other relevant sales activity. You will report to and work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing just as close team work with the other relevant functions in Arla is key to success.
Understanding market dynamics and customers
You have a detailed understanding of the changing retail market combined with an entrepreneurial mind set to help you independently develop and drive our business to a different level. You like establishing and maintaining long lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders through your strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are a strong negotiator and show an ability to make diligent decisions. Strong computer skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required as well as fluent Italian and good English skills. You have minimum 5 years’ Account Management experience with national retail chains and current relationships with key buyers of: ESSELUNGA, COOP, AUCHAN, CARREFOUR, CONAD, METRO and others.
