The Supply Chain Excellence of Arla Foods includes the responsibility for our production and packing facilities mainly inside Europe. Based in our Head Office in Viby, Denmark, we support these sites from a technical and enviromental perspective. The support secures high quality standards and drives the work with continuous improvements and best practices.
Help us develop our environmental strategy
Arla Foods has an environmental strategy with ambitious targets for the year 2020. This includes a solid strategy for using our utilities like water, electricity and gas in an ecological and cost efficient way. Secondly, our target of strengthening our maintenance strategy within Arla Foods plays an important role in reaching our targets.
As our intern you will support us in formulating a new strategy, and map and involve Arla Foods' stakeholders in the discussions, both internally and externally. We offer a challenging internship where you will be assisting in managing these stakeholder dialogues. You will take part in all stages of this process, which will give you valuable opportunities to develop your project management skills. The project involves tasks such as summarizing, analyzing and systematizing information and data, and participation in meetings.
You are ready to start your internship late 2016 and stay for 3-6 months. You are studying on a Master’s degree level, e.g. supply chain or engineering, ideally combined with experience from another position within FMCG. You are super user of the MS Office programmes. On top of that, you have a systematic and analytical approach to your tasks.
You are a team player and good at managing several stakeholders on all levelsAn international outlook is also important, as Arla Foods' new maintenance and utilities strategy will be global in scope. Being good at systematizing and synthesizing information are very important qualities for the success of the project, and good English skills are a prerequisite. Personal qualities suitable for the project involve being socially easy going and efficient.
