At Arla, we are recruiting for our new Senior MYPC (Milk, Yogurt and Cooking) & BSM (Butter, Spreadable and Margarine) Category Manager within our Foodservice Business Unit to help us grow and succeed in the highly competitive market.
Develop categories and lead growth
From our headquarters in Aarhus, you will take the lead on developing and driving strong global growth in the MYPC & BSM categories anchored in Arla’s European Foodservice organization. The newly organized Business Unit is highly ambitious and we need you to be so as well. You will be a vital part of reaching our goals and it is crucial for our success that you can engage and align local markets with the global strategy, and lead cross market teams to deliver projects within the strategy.
The MYPC & BSM categories cover a range of products that will need to step-up growth in the near future to follow the strategy. It is your drive and passion that will see this growth through and you will have real possibilities to make a sustainable impact on the categories’ performance.
You will refer directly to the Foodservice Marketing & Application Director and be responsible for the MYPC & BSM category in the European Foodservice market. Your role is to identify and implement ways to leverage the relevant Foodservice channels in which the categories play and ensure category growth now and in the future.
You will identify needs for NPD‘s based on customer and user insights, facilitate the lead market model to leverage synergies across markets and minimize duplication, and you will coordinate FOH activities with retail categories and ensure that brand guidelines are followed.
Strong global mind-set and a master’s degree in Marketing

Your track record reflects extensive experience with category & brand management and between 5-10 years’ of experience with marketing or sales in an FMCG environment. You have strong business acumen and an exceptional drive, and you are willing to go the extra mile to create results. A relevant marketing or business degree at master’s level backs your experience. Your knowledge about the Foodservice market is strong and you know how to succeed across borders.
