Cost Controller, Stockholm

Arla Foods’ Finance department in Stockholm are looking for a Cost Controller, to assist and support our central finance team with general controlling tasks such as reporting, development, budgeting and cost control. CSE is responsible for production, distribution, sales and marketing of Arla Food’s products on the Swedish market. Analysis, investigation and clear-cut communication
You will be an important member of our Central Finance team and contribute to the delivery of the CSE finance agenda as well as the further development of our finance community. Your main responsibility will be to secure and maintain an efficient process for operational and financial planning, cost control and performance management within Arla Sweden. As Cost Controller, you will ensure that adequate internal control procedures are established, and drive insights in our existing data material that will lead to action. This position also involves following up on contractual obligations and managing saving/efficiency opportunities. In other words, you will be a proactive and competent sparring partner for the business – as well as commercial business controllers.

In addition to the above, you will also have the opportunity to directly support one of our commercial business divisions through financial partnership, as well as engage on key development projects at both Zone and Group level. For the right person, this may provide a great opportunity to grow into a broader role with the Arla Foods’ business within a few years’ time 

Curious and analytical controller with strong drive and a flair for numbers
You hold a Bachelor or Master in Business and Economics, or similar. Adding to this, you have at least two years’ experience from a financial control position or equivalent, preferably within FMCG. This has provided you with a great understanding of business, financial analysis, reporting and profit follow-ups. Fluency in English is a requirement and proficiency in Swedish is qualifying. Excellent IT skills, especially in Excel, are a must, whereas knowledge in SAP R/3 and PowerPoint is highly valued. 

You have a genuine curiosity for business and people, and you possess the ability to gather and interpret large quantities of data and present your findings in a comprehensive manner, with impact. Other key qualities are your ability to build strong relationships across an organisation, great communication and analytical skills, structure and drive. You thrive when working independently as well as in groups and you consider continuous improvement, high quality and meeting deadlines to be naturally important.
